DropBagDB is a comparison website. You can browse listings without creating an account. We do not run a booking checkout on our servers: reservations are completed on partner websites.

If you contact us by email, we process the information you send (email address and message content) solely to reply to your request.

Technical logs may temporarily include IP address, browser type and requested pages for security and reliability purposes.

We use essential cookies or local storage needed for the site to work (for example remembering your cookie choice).

With your consent, we also use analytics cookies to understand aggregated traffic and improve the product.

You can accept or refuse analytics cookies via the banner, or change your mind later from the legal notice page.

When you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits in aggregate form. IP addresses are anonymised and advertising storage remains disabled.

Analytics data is retained for a maximum of 14 months. If you refuse analytics cookies, Google Analytics does not store analytics cookies for your visits.

Some outbound “Book” links are affiliate links. When you click them, you leave DropBagDB and partner sites may set their own cookies and process data under their own privacy policies.

Affiliation helps fund DropBagDB at no extra cost to you. It does not change the booking price charged by the partner.

City and area pages may display interactive maps (Leaflet with OpenStreetMap tiles). Map providers may receive technical requests such as IP address when tiles load.

Embedded or third-party content behaves as if you visited the source site and may set its own cookies.

Email correspondence is kept for as long as needed to handle your request, then archived for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required by law.

Your cookie preference is stored locally in your browser until you clear it or change it.

Depending on applicable law (including the GDPR where it applies), you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection regarding personal data we hold about you.
